It seemed that the major innovations were in the home jersey. However, Adidas has wanted to change the image of Real Madrid in Europe and has avoided the black, blue and purple to opt for a striking color. New Barcelona shirt 2011/2012 by Nike, featuring Qatar Foundation as the new shirt sponsors. The new Barca shirt 2011/2012 was officially unveiled on May 17, 2011 at the Nou Camp, and here are photos of the new Barcelona home top 2012.

Photos of both the front and back side of the new Barcelona top 11/12 are given below. The front side of the shirt has Qatar Foundation as the sponsor with UNICEF going to the back of the shirt. As previously assumed, UNICEF has been moved to a spot on the back below where the name and numbers will appear while Qatar Foundation appears on the front.

“Mes que un club” appears just below the collar on the inside of the shirt and on the back, the letters “FCB” are placed above the senyera, or flag of Catalunya.

The 2011 Copa del Rey final was the 107th final since its establishment. The match was a traditional ‘El Clásico’ rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid which took place on 20 April 2011 at the Estadio Mestalla, making it the sixth such Copa del Rey final (the last one was played also in Valencia on 5 April 1990), just four days after the two teams played each other in La Liga and seven days before they played each other in the UEFA Champions League first leg semi-final. The shirt sees Madrid adopt gold as a secondary colour in the trim, and appears to use the same template the recently released Argentina away shirt with distinct box style trim under the sleeves although the collar does appear to differ being in a polo style rather than a round neck.

Last is Real madrid away 2011/2012, As you can see from this image, the new Real Madrid 2011-12 away jersey is black and looks as though it has gold Adidas stripes, a gold Adidas logo and the sponsor is also the same colour. It looks as though it has a similar design to one of the home shirts we brought you earlier in the week, but this one has a round collar.

The new jerseys have an embroidered adidas logo on the front center chest and the Argentina national team badge is embroidered on the left. An embossed design around the team badge includes the year 1893, the year in which the Argentina Football Association was founded.
